Twisted Pistols

Twisted Pistols are working hard at making their third album “Home On The Highway. The bands first release, "Rusted Shut," was recorded and released in 2008, and since then the band has played with several Texas music bands such as Deryl Dodd, Bart Crow, and Zain Williams. The second release from the band, “Overheated” was recorded and released in 2010. This has opened doors for them, such as Rebels & Roses Music Festival, where they played a long side of some great bands such as The Bigsbys, Wes Jeans Band, Josh Weathers Band, Black Dutch Sioux, and Whiskey Myers. Twisted Pistols music, as always, range from straight honky-tonk to country-rock and all points in between, incorporating influences from Texas/Red Dirt Music. The legacy of Texas/Red Dirt country music is an extremely important one to the band, and the gang looks to leading lights like Ray Wylie Hubbard, Todd Snider, Mark David Manders, and Radney Foster for inspiration.
