Mark V

Markus Hägglund, better known as Mark V, was born in 1989 in Sundsvall, Sweden. He grew up with music all around him, played instruments and showed a genuine interest in all kinds of music. Then, on a cold winters night, Mark discovered "Tiesto In Concert 2003" and he was hooked. Skipping school, Mark watched the show over and over until the electronic side of music had got him 100% hooked. A DJ and a producer was born. After 10 years of hard work, learning all the skill necessary, Mark V is becoming a very experienced DJ and producer. During the years, Mark has also gained some great support. After releasing songs on "PR Records", a sub label to world leading Warner Music, he has played alongside artists such as John De Sohn, Darwin & Backwall, Jonas Hörnblad, Noisecontrollers, Frontliner, Rank 1, Chris One, Jochen Miller, and many more. He also was supported by Tiesto as a guest DJ in the “15 minutes of fame” on the ClubLife show (episode 131). In 2011, he got the honours of making the official anthem to the Swedish "Air Festival". The song was called "Mathias Red & Mark V - Summerbeat (Air Festival Anthem)" and the festival was headlined by Dada Life, Laidback Luke, Style Of Eye and Swankey Tunes, to name a few. Integrity has always been a big part of Marks life. He follows no road that other points him in direction of. Even tough he produces and plays music that is loved by the masses in this day and age, the most important part is that he gets to do it in his own way. When a great deal of producers widely screams "We live for the music" or "music is my life", Mark sits quiet and will continue to do what He loves. He loves his music and want people to get moved by it in the way he intended when creating it. Sit down with Mark , just a few minutes.
