Trust The Lighthouse

Trust The Lighthouse est un groupe de Hardcore/Mélodique lausannois, formé en début d’année 2011 par Alex, Pete (guitares) et Vincent (batterie), anciens membre du groupe Affect Head. Très vite rejoints par David et Pascal (chant), le groupe travaille près d’un an avant l’arrivée de Sacha (basse). Après trois concerts prometteurs, Pascal décide de quitter l’aventure fin juin 2012. La recherche d’un autre second chanteur est d’abord envisagée, mais c’est finalement Sacha qui reprend ce rôle en plus de la basse. L’univers musical de Trust The Lighthouse naviguait au départ entre Metalcore classique et Post Hardcore, inspiré par des groupes comme August Burns Red, Killswitch Engage, Naiad, Boysetsfire ou Parkway Drive, pour ensuite se diriger d’avantage dans un registre plus Hardcore et privilégier l’efficacité des composition à la démonstration technique. Un premier disque est actuellement en cours d’enregistrement et devrait voir le jour en début 2013. Une version démo d’un morceau extrait de ce futur album est déjà en écoute sur la page Facebook du groupe. _______________________________________________________________ Trust The Lighthouse is a Metalcore/Hardcore band from Lausanne, created in early 2011 by Alex, Pete (guitars) and Vincent (drums), former members of the band Affect Head. Quickly joined by David and Pascal (vocals), the band works almost a year before Sacha (bass) joins them. After the first three shows, Pascal decided to leave at the end of june 2012. The search for a new second singer is considered at first, but Sacha took this part in addition to playing bass. Trust The Lighthouse’s musical environement was between Classical Metalcore and Post Hardcore at the beginning, inspired by bands like August Burns Red, Killswitch Engage, Naiad, Boysetsfire or Parkway Drive, but then evolved to a more Hardcore one, to focus on the eficacity of the songs instead of the technical aspects. A first record is on the way and should come out in the beginning of 2013. A first song of this record is already online on the Facebook page of the band.
