Vendetta is formed in 2009 by Javier Etxeberria and Luisillo Kalandraka, musicians with a long national and international career. Three more members join this new project, Enriko Rubiños and Rubén Antón (with whom they had shared the stage in Skalariak) and also Pello Repáraz, being thus the band formed. VENDETTA (2009) Two songs, "home made" recorded, were published as a small foretaste of what was coming. Later, they sign with GOR label that includes the song "Crédito hipotecario" in the compilation "Aurtengo gorakada 10". Almost a year of setout and rehearsal bore fruit in a disk that preceded a dizzing tour of international scope. The album was called like the band, "Vendetta", and includes eleven unreleased songs and two versions: "Everyday" from The Selecter, which one day covered "Hertzainak" (and called it "Egunero") and "The munsters" from Jack Marshall. Along with these tracks, we find "Loco", "Comando Che Guevara", "Son Libre", "Como Sube", "Soy de Barrio", "Ciudad Desolación", "Kolorez Busti", "Es Mentira", "Miedo" and "Vendetta". This is the essence of a project with songs based on ska, a style to which the band has been faithful over its musical career of more than ten years, put through the sieve of rock and other styles like skinhead-reggae and latin-hardcore. PURO INFIERNO (2011) On March 1, 2011 their second album "Puro Infierno" goes on sale. Keeping the ska essence of the first one, this record includes new rithms that clinch the exclusivity of Vendetta's project against other groups. This new album doesn't include cover versions, the music becomes more calm and the lyrical turns around 180 degrees. Certain influences of bands like Manu Chao, The Police and The Clash are seen in this album. Pello Repáraz and Javier Etxeberria are the ones who write the lyrics for this album and, along with Luisillo Kalandraka, are in charge of providing the voice for the lyrics. Tracks such as "Begitara Begira" and "Buonasera" definitely consolidate the band in Euskal Herria. Besides, these songs together with others like "La Diabla", "Pasos de Acero", "La Familia", "Sugarra Zugan" "Alerta" and "Volar" open doors to the world for Vendetta. Their second studio work triggers two international tours called "PURO INFIERNO TOUR 2011" and "A MUERTE TOUR 2012". Tours that lead them to play in different countries like Germany, Switzerland, Saharawi refugee camps, etc., to end in a crowded pub The Jamm in London. FUIMOS, SOMOS Y SEREMOS (2012) On December 5, 2012 their third studio work "Fuimos, Somos y Seremos" goes on sale. Following the path of their two previous works, the new album gets us new horizons always aiming not to bore the listener and trying that every song draws a different landscape. Songs like "Udarako gau luzeak", "La Parranda", "Time for Freedom" and "Botella de ron" are quick to gain a foothold in the hearts of their followers. In 2013, Vendetta embarks on the "Fuimos, Somos y Seremos Tour" which is their most ambitious tour until today. Performing a statewide tour that begins in Barcelona and ends in their land, Iruñea, to then leave for Switzerland. Many festivals and town squares during the summer which culminate with a Latin American tour in November. The tour passes through Peru, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina where the band shows off their full of adrenaline concerts, conducting a review of their three works published to date. 13 BALAS (2014) In 2014, with the publication of the official video clip for "Time For Freedom", Vendetta embarks on "TOUR FOR FREEDOM 2014", tour that returns them to lead statewide and Europe. Enrolled in the tour, they do not rest a moment. Besides, in November of the same year they release the single video clip entitled "Leña al Fuego", foretaste of what will be their fourth studio work. They play again with several musical styles. This time approaching to country music or Celtic punk-rock, but never leaving the essence of dance and ska. On December 5, 2014 "13 Balas" comes to light. It is the fourth album of the band. A turning point in the career of Vendetta. In search of new sounds, the disc is recorded with Paxkal Etxepare, the live sound engineer of the band, thereby producing a new sonority. To this is added the clear commitment to the diffusion of their music offering it for free download to everyone, jumping physical and otherwise boundaries, in order that everyone can enjoy the band. ------------------------------- BIO (Castellano) Vendetta nace en 2009 de la mano de Javier Etxeberria y Luisillo Kalandraka, músicos con larga trayectoria profesional tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. A este nuevo proyecto se suman Enrikko Rubiños, Rubén Antón, (músicos con los que compartieron escenario en Skalariak) y Pello Reparaz quedándo así la formada la banda. Más tarde firman por el sello GOR que incluye el tema "Crédito hipotecario" en el recopilatorio "Aurtengo gorakada 10". Casi un año de preparativos y ensayos dieron su fruto en un disco que precedió una vertiginosa gira de carácter internacional. Para este álbum, Pello Repáraz y Javier Etxeberria son los que han escrito las letras de los temas y los que, junto a Luisillo Kalandraka, se encargan de ponerles voz. Temas como "Begitara Begira" y "Buonasera" consolidan a la banda en Euskal Herria de una forma definitiva y estos junto a otros cortes como "La Diabla", "Pasos de Acero", "La Familia", "Sugarra Zugan", "Alerta" y "Volar", abren las puertas de Vendetta al resto del mundo. Su segundo trabajo de estudio desencadena dos giras internacionales llamadas "PURO INFIERNO TOUR 2011" y "A MUERTE TOUR 2012". Giras que les llevan a tocar en diferentes países como Alemania, Suiza, campamentos de refugiados Saharauis, etc. Para finalizar en una abarrotada sala The Jamm en Londres. FUIMOS, SOMOS Y SEREMOS (2012) El 14 de noviembre de 2012 se edita su tercer trabajo de estudio: "Fuimos, Somos y Seremos". Siguiendo el camino de sus dos trabajos precedentes, el nuevo disco vuela hacia nuevos horizontes teniendo siempre como objetivo intentar no aburrir al oyente y que cada canción dibuje un paisaje diferente. Canciones como "Udarako gau luzeak", "La Parranda", "Time for Freedom" y "Botella de ron" no tardan en hacerse un hueco en el corazón de sus seguidores. En el año 2013 Vendetta se embarca en el "Fuimos, Somos y Seremos Tour" la que es su gira más ambiciosa hasta el día de hoy. Realizando una gira de salas por todo el estado que comienza en Barcelona y termina en su tierra, Iruñea, para seguidamente partir hacia tierras Suizas. Muchísimos festivales y plazas durante el verano culminan en noviembre con una gira Latinoamericana que pasa por Perú, Chile, Uruguay y Argentina donde la banda hace gala de sus adrenalíticos conciertos, realizando un repaso de sus tres trabajos editados hasta la fecha. Junto con la publicación del videoclip oficial de "Time For Freedom", nace el"TOUR FOR FREEDOM 2014", gira que les vuelve a llevar por todo el estado y Europa. 13 BALAS (2014) Enrolados en el tour, no descansan ni un momento y en noviembre del mismo año lanzan el single-videoclip titulado “Leña al Fuego”, anticipo de lo que será su cuarto trabajo de estudio. Vuelven a jugar con estilos musicales, ésta vez acercándose al country o al punk-rock celta, sin dejar nunca la esencia del baile y el ska. El 5 de diciembre de 2014 sale a la luz "13 Balas" cuarto trabajo de la banda. Un punto de inflexión en la trayectoria de Vendetta. En busca de nuevos sonidos, graban con Paxkal Etxepare, técnico de directo de la banda, consiguiendo una nueva sonoridad. A esto se le suma la apuesta clara por la difusión de su música ofreciéndola en descarga gratuita a todo el mundo, saltando así las fronteras físicas, y de cualquier otro tipo, en aras de que todo el mundo pueda disfrutar de la banda.
