Hyde Abbey Group

ENGLISH Hyde Abbey is a deathcore band created in Barcelona, which was definitely established in 2010. Nowadays, the band is made up of: Presta (singer), Kurti (guitar), Edgar (guitar), Jon (bass), and Arnau (drums). The band started to record their first album "HALL OF SHAME" in August 2010 (Suspiria Records, 2012) with Miki Martínez as a producer in Recycle Studios. Then, they started to perform different concerts and festivals: more than 30 concerts all around Spain, including Apolo and Razzmatazz. At the beginning of 2012 they signed a contract with "Suspiria Records", a record company from Vigo that edited and distributed their first album in countries such as Spain, Japan, Holland and France. Furthermore, they also signed a contract with the clothing brand "Don't Pray For Me", whose designers also work with bands such as ABORTED, CALIBAN, SUICIDE SILENCE, SYLOSIS… At the end of 2012, the band started to record their second album OOPARTS (Fair Warning, 2013) in La Atlantida Estudios, produced by Edgar Beltri (The Eyes, Tiki Phantoms) and mastered by Yvess Rousell (Berri Txarrak). OOPARTS is released in April 2013 by the record company Fair Warning (Crisix, '77). At the same time, the band signed a contract with Background Noise, one of the most important management companies in Spain. In April 2013 OOPARTS tour began. This tour has made it possible to play both with famous bands and stages all around Spain highlighting his performance in RESURRECTON FEST 2014. HYDE ABBEY has played with international band such as HATEBREED (USA), PARKWAY DRIVE (AUS), THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER (USA), NAPALM DEATH (UK), UNEARTH (USA), THE EXPLOITED (UK), TEXAS IN JULY (USA), BETRAYING THE MARTYRS (FR), AUBURN (USA), BULLDOZER (IT), BIRDS IN ROW (FR)… and other national bands such as Crisix, Anal Hard, Sound of Silence, The Eyes, Thirteen Bleed Promises… In 2016 they bring to light his third album "THE DEVIL SPOKESMAN" recorded in La Atlantida Estudio. Produced by Edgar Beltri and mixed by Mario Patiño. Also become part of the family of Jägermeister bands. ESPAÑOL: HYDE ABBEY es un grupo de deathcore formado en Mataró (Barcelona), estabilizado en 2010. Actualmente la banda está integrada por: Presta (voz), Kurti (guitarra), Edgar (guitarra), Jon (bajo) y Arnau (batería).  En Agosto de 2010 la banda entra a grabar su primer disco “HALL OF SHAME” (Suspiria Records, 2012) en Recycle Studios con el productor Miki Martinez. Desde ese momento empiezan a tocar en diferentes conciertos y festivales; justamente ese mismo año hacen mas de 30 conciertos alrededor del país y tocando en grandes salas como Apolo o Razzamatazz 2. A principios del 2012 firman con “Suspiria Records”, una discográfica joven de Vigo la cuál editará y distribuirá su disco nacionalmente y por países como Japón, Francia y Holanda. Aparte, van un paso mas allá, firmando por la marca de ropa “Don’t Pray For Me”, los cuales cuentan con los diseñadores de grupos de talla mundial como ABORTED, CALIBAN, SUICIDE SILENCE, SYLOSIS... A finales de ese mismo año la banda entra a La Atlántida Estudios para grabar su segundo disco “OOPARTS” (Fair Warning, 2013), de la mano del productor Edgar Beltri (The Eyes, Tiki Phantoms), masterizado por Yvess Rousell (Berri Txarrak). OOPARTS se lanza en Abril 2013 a través de la discográfica Fair Warning (Crisix, '77); al mismo tiempo que la banda ficha por Background Noise, una de las agencias de management más importantes del país. Actualmente la banda cuenta con el soporte de empresas como: Schecter, Fernandes, Fanatic Guitars, Madrid Musical, y de los medios de comunicación, como las revistas Rockzone y BcnOrDie, o de webs como Zona Zero y Brutal Family. La banda está finalizando la gira OOPARTS TOUR (con fechas por todo el Estado; entre ellas, el famoso festival nacional RESURRECTION FEST).
