Miles To Go Biography
Miles To Go is from Columbia, South Carolina. Influenced by rock from Billy Joel and Metallica to Pink Floyd and Radiohead, Miles To Go explores many different styles in its original music. The songs are largely written as keys-driven rock, using strong vocals, and masterfully executed guitar leads. The band moves carefully between crafted lyrical music into heavy driving rock. Songwriter, keyboardist and lead vocalist, Alex Davis received his Bachelor of Music Composition at The University of South Carolina in 2010. Writing for Miles To Go along with many other projects, his style continues to transform while maintaining focus on strong vocal performance and compelling songwriting. Lead guitarist, Garrett Glover, also graduated from USC in 2007 and has been teaching classical guitar while performing with many Columbia artists as ‘the guy that can play anything you give him.’ Between his rock-solid riffs and his elegant bends, Glover leaves you wanting more every time. Moses Andrews III is one of the finest musicians out there, and anyone that gets to work with him knows they are getting a treat. While Moses can play just about any instrument, he plays bass, guitar drums and keyboard for Miles To Go. He takes whatever wave comes his way and surfs it like a master, grooving all the way. He begins his study at Berklee College of Music in organ performance this fall. Miles To Go has just finished its debut album, Gypsy. With many more songs already in play that will appear on album 2, the band is moving forward with traveling and shows to share their music. Miles To Go have just released their debut album, Gypsy, available in hard copy, on iTunes, Spotify, and many other services. Get a copy today!
