Iron Bells

Iron Bells is an original blues/rock band from Louisville, KY. The project started as a platform for singer/songwriter Demi Demaree to craft solo material that had been in the making for years. One of these songs, “Bed of Thorns”, was featured in the locally produced independent film “Nothing in the Flowers” and Demi was asked to perform at the movie’s premiere. He enlisted long time collaborators and band mates, Tim Bernauer and Ron Ping on drums and bass respectively along with Malcolm McLaughlin on lead guitar and back-up vocals to accompany him in the performance. From this collaboration, Iron Bells were born. The majority of Iron Bells’ material consists of the songs originally written by Demi as a solo endeavor but it soon became evident that the rest of the band had plenty to contribute and the project evolved into more of a group effort. The band is currently putting the finishing touches on the songs to be recorded for their first full length album. They plan to have the record completed in early 2013.
