Borkung Hrangkhawl, more commonly known by his stage name BK, needs no further introduction. He’s already a household name. However, for those folks who are new to his music, here’s a little prelude. BK is a freestyle rapper and singer-songwriter from Kamlacherra, Tripura India. He started his musical journey with the former New Delhi based hip-hop group DropSquad. They were offered to sign up by India’s leading music label Times Music in 2010 upon winning the nationwide talent hunt “Supastars” from North Zone round. Since then, he has never looked back and has been continually performing across the country. He was one of the "Opening Acts" for the renowned international band “Hoobastank” on June 29th( Shillong, Meghalaya) during their Maiden India tour. BK is also known as a 'conscious rapper' - a progressive rap reformer beneath because his songs are based on life, struggles, are against discrimination, racism, injustice, anti-drugs so on & so forth. His songs have unique messages, compelling lyrics & inspiring back stories. It's not often you get to see this blend in a rapper.
