take the hint Biography
It all started with an obsession for music; an idea that sparked a band, a band that did not make it very far. But within that failure to become something bigger, everyone previously in the band had become better at their instruments. Soon enough Eric's garage became more and more busy with practices scheduled, and from that garage formed "Take the Hint", a new, pop punk band with influences from Blink 182, Green Day, New Found Glory and All Time Low. Starting out, the band did primarily covers and played a few parks and other events for teenagers. That was fun, but they new that it was time to write their own material. Only two months into their formation, they placed 18th out of 40 at a battle of the bands held in Station 4, which they played 3 of their original songs "Amanda", "Decade", --both featured on their EP "Pitchforks and Cookie Dough"-- and "Up All Night Staring". After the battle of the bands, the original singer left the band, and so the guitarist, Eric became the frontman. Since then, the band has played more teen get togethers, library celebrations, grad parties, yearbook signings and other school events as well. After the release of their first demo EP, drummer, Dan Ingman, left to attend college and Jordan Narloch took his place. The line up has been that way since. Take the hint is a pop punk band based in the St. Cloud area of St. Cloud. When going to a show you can expect alot of fun music both covers and originals.
