Without Reason Biography
Without Reason, a grunge rock band transmitting a sound of distinguished distortion and melodic vocals assisted by hard hitting beats and driving bass lines. “Without Reason display some truly fantastic musicianship, and boast not only the best lead singer and lead guitarist in the area but also one of the tightest rhythm sections ; the sheer grove they create is very impressive” Stuart Johnson, MMG. Bassist Ashley Deane and Guitarist James Woolley met when James starting working with Ashley four years ago. After a few interesting auditions the guys found Louise Bowler, a powerful voice with plenty of band experience, she instantaneously became a member of Without Reason; then to complete the line up drummer Luke Patterson was selected, who's sound, playing and enthusiasm matched his stature....massive. Since that defining moment Without Reason went on to win Buckinghamshire Battle of the Bands and get to the Semi Final of a National Band Competition. They have been aired and interviewed by ‘The BBC’,’ Three Counties Radio’, ‘Wake the Nation’ and all local press. They have raised significant amounts of money for cancer research and Meningitis UK not to mention playing over two hundred gigs across the country with big promoters like FeedMe Music and MMG, supporting big names such as ‘The Hoosiers’ and ‘Electric Mary’ and playing to a growing army of fans. Currently Without Reason are setting a date to self release their first single 'Weakest Defence' and are playing a host of gigs to build a buzz and engage a wider audience. Without Reason take influence from bands such as, Nirvana, QOTA, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Foo Fighters whilst continuously growing and adapting their own sound. With so much drive, energy and potential behind them time is the only element between now and success. www.withoutreason.net
