Course of Fate

COF started out as most bands do. In 2003 a bunch of friends decided to form a heavy metal band in the spirit of bands such as Queensrÿche, Dream Theater and Evergrey. The band got off to a good start, but as some members became more serious, others fell of the wagon and for a number of years the band stood without a complete line-up, hiring new members only to have them leave for one reason or the other. Despite the issues with the line-up the musical direction have never swayed, and the band has never been dead or "on ice". Even with as few as two active members, the band has soldiered on, making new music and developing the unique COF-sound. In 2012, the only remaining original member is Kenneth H., though Eivind has returned from the original line-up as lead singer after a stint with Oceans of Time and Aeonic Dream. As for the other members, Marcus has been with the band since 2005, Carl came in 2008 and Daniel in 2012. Kenneth Tårneby joined in 2010 and was with the band for five good years before leaving to join Triosphere in 2015, being replaced by Per-Morten Bergseth (Fracture, Dracula: the swing of death, Baby Snakes, Fimbulvinter) who fit perfectly with the bands chemistry and musical style.
