HoneyTrash consists of Ric Miller playing guitar, Scott Hill playing the bass, and Sierra Ramirez on vocals. The three musicians found a common interest in simple rock and roll and blues music, and together have created a sound that is both unique and classic. Miller plays with the dichotomy of the sweet and sour nature of the songs by lending a sound that at times can be gritty, and at other times smooth and woeful. Hill explores the range of the bass, sliding notes that provide a mellow atmosphere, while also playing low, powerful notes that bring a heaviness to the overall sound. With strong female vocals, and lyrics that are reminiscent of a simpler time, Ramirez brings a sense of heartbreak and power to the microphone.
