KILLER SOUND

The band was formed in Milan, Italy, in 2007. They started playing classic '90s punk rock, the band was origninally formed by 4 members: Fede and Ivan (singers and guitarists), Mark (bassist) and Zaga (drummer). The band's first recording was the 10 tracks demo "Take it, love it...fuck it", this was the beginning of their local live tour. During 2010, Mark created the "Rock Against $ilvio" project. More than 50 italian bands were involved and united against the italian political scene. This project continued throughout the omonymous festival (where 20 bands took part in it) as well as other initiatives to involve and inform people through music. At the end of 2010 the band released their first full-lenght album "Bored kids are back in town" which consisted of 14 tracks including the Baywatch cover theme song. Thanks to a strategic promotional activity the band's live career took off. They played in several Italian cities and also some gigs in Germany. The drummer Zaga was replaced by Poly, who joined the band in 2011. This change led the band to a more self-aware style embracing alternative american rock influences. In the first half of 2013 the band has released two videos: "Rufio" and "I'm always here" (baywatch cover theme). Now they have released a brand new EP called TRANSITION! Il genere musicale inizialmente proposto è quello del classico punk rock anni '90 cantato in inglese. Nel 2008 il gruppo registra una demo di 10 pezzi dal titolo "Take it, love it...fuck it" grazie alla quale comincia a fare diverse serate nei locali ed a farsi conoscere nella zona di Milano. A metà 2010 Mark realizza il progetto "Rock Against $ilvio", iniziativa che coinvolge oltre 50 bands da tutta Italia unite dal disgusto per la politica italiana. Seguono da qui un omonimo festival con oltre 20 band partecipanti e diverse altre iniziative per sensibilizzare il pubblico attraverso la musica. A fine 2010 la band stampa il primo album ufficiale "Bored kids are back in town" composto da 14 brani tra cui anche la cover della sigla del celebre telefilm americano "Baywatch". Il disco riceve ottime recensioni e comincia da qui un'intensa attività live di promozione del disco che porterà la band ad esibirsi in diversi locali italiani ed anche a Berlino. Nel 2011 Zaga lascia la band e subentra il nuovo batterista Poli,grazie al quale la band amplia il proprio sound verso un alternative rock americano.
