Of Temples

Of Temples was formed in 2011 by Alexandre Gravel and Alex Godard. The lineup was completed towards the very beginning of 2012 and is composed of 5 passionate men. The band presented themselves to the public a few months later with their first single “Acrimony”. They then played their first show on April 21st 2012, right before they entered the studio in May with Antoine Lussier at .357 Productions (Ion Dissonance, Obey the Brave, Skip the Foreplay, Emmure). The EP, entitled “Dreamers”, was released on August 18th 2012. After the release of “Dreamers”, Of Temples played several shows across Quebec, and released their sophomore single “Circles” in May 2013. Since then, the band completed their first tour across Ontario as well as performing at two of the biggest punk/hardcore/metal festivals in Canada: Rockfest in Montebello, Quebec and Heavy MTL in their hometown of Montreal. Since then, the band continued their hard work and devotion as they hit the road on several Quebec-Ontario tours and renewed their partnership with mastermind Antoine Lussier for their second release "The Decline". Released on March 2nd, "The Decline" is the perfect mix of technicality and agressivity, composed of riffs and grooves that will make your head bang uncontrollably. "The Decline" confirmed that Of Temples is the band to watch out for in 2014, as they have plans to tour extensively until the end of the year.
