Rivky Biography

“I am drawn to Rivky by her raw talent. What I love about her as an artist is the strength in her vulnerability- absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to hear more from her!” -Amy Lee, Evanescence

About Rivky

A hidden prodigy, scared shipless, navigating, Rivky is an extraordinarily gifted storyteller-singer with lyrical ingenuity, a Jaques Brelian/Kurt Weill/Freddie Mercury nostalgia, being quirky, funny, beautifully messy with unique beat structures, raw, theatrical, spreading light through song and curryaki matzoh-balls, a soulful foodie momma, nourishing audiences. Invited Off-Broadway where began the kickstart album release with her friend and cellist Brian Sanders, performing at The Kennedy Center, stages featuring Suzanne Vega and Rivky's latest, "Hear Me Mr. Honey", produced by Grammy winning Amy Lee, Evanescence. Rivky was raised in the Jewish, Amish like, "frum" world, cut off from mainstream, prohibited from singing publicly in front of men. She was born to a Venezuelan mother and an Israeli father, making her mix up some Ay dios and Oy vey cocktails everywhere. You can find out more or less, equally, at the 2,019 social media sites that stifle and zombify our healthy living. Good luck making your choice...www.rivkygee.com

“A powerful, powerful singer. Capable of reaching notes too high and low for most -and capable of hitting them with emotion.” -Howard Bloom, Former publicist for Billy Joel and Prince
