Hungry for the Truth

Hungry for the Truth is a Chaotic-Hardcore band from France. Their multiple influences also allow the quintet to deal with other musical styles (Mathcore, Post-hardcore, Stoner…). A few months after a first DIY demo (2011), a new line-up announces a new beginning (Emilie for the vox and Cédric at guitar). After the audio and video recording of a live session (2012), the first album "Overflow" is released, still in a DIY way (2013). The band decides to allow the free download of this LP’s 13 titles. Concert after concert, HftT shows himself as a resolutely LIVE group, sends back a positive energy and a desire to share strong moments with the audience. HftT has just finished a new EP asserting a violent musical style, a meticulous composition and an accomplished sound thanks to important contributors: recorded by Chris EDRICH (The Ocean), mixed by Kurt BALLOU (Converge) and mastered by Magnus LINDBERG (Cult Of Luna). The release of this opus is planned at the end in early 2016.
