Juston Stens and the Get Real Gang

Hello earth. My name is Juston Stens. I share a birthday with Ringo Starr ( drummer of The Beatles ). I've always loved music. I always will. When I was about 7 years old I began learning guitar by listening to my parents albums and cassettes. Years later I learned how to tune it!--------------- In 1985 i saw "Back To the Future" and I knew it was time to go electric. I saved $75 and my father took me to the South street pawn shop in Philadelphia to buy my first electric guitar. It was called a "Savoy".-------As a teenager I played punk music like many teenage musicians in NJ in the 90's. ------- In my early twenties I moved to Philadelphia and honed my percussive abilities playing drums with Bradford Trojan and Traffic Jam.--------In 2004 I became the second drummer of Philadelphia based rock n' roll act "Dr.Dog". -------In the Autumn of 2009, after recording "Shame Shame" I parted ways with Dr.Dog and began to further pursue my own musical journey.---I try to play drums for someone once a year. ------ Jan/Feb 2010 my debut solo album was recorded in Tucson,AZ and Black Mt.,NC with Nathan Sabatino and Seth Kauffman respectively. This album is titled "Trash or Treasure"---------- 2010=Touring drummer for David Vandervelde. 2011=touring member of Generationals. 2012= Adam Arcuragi and the Lupine Choral Society. 2012=Eric Burdon and the Animals. 2014 Company Corvette------- -------Between Aug 8 and December 8 of 2011 I journeyed across the USA on a 1972 Triumph motorcycle to visit friends and record 15 new songs collaboratively. These song became one album "Share the Road" due for release Summer 2014..........On this journey I was followed by a documentary film maker named Drew Stubbs. His documentary is named "I Lay Where I Fall" after one of my songs and has been screened at Film Festivals in Nashville, New Orleans, and Lafayette.
