Marvin Goldstein

Marvin Goldstein is an aclaimed pianist and performer that has been performing for over fifty years. He began his career at age nine playing the accordion and on to the piano. In high school he wanted to be in the marching band. But, pushing a piano around on the field was not an option. The band director started him on the French Horn. At eighteen, he was awarded a music scholarship to Tel Aviv University School of Music in Israel. Then he went to the famed "Mozarteum" of Salzburg, Austria. He completed his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. His performance degrees were earned on, yep, the French Horn. Goldstein is listed in Who's Who in Music in Europeat Cambridge, England. Goldstein has traveled and performed extensively in Jerusalem, Egypt, Copenhagen, London, across Canada, Australia, with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on Temple Square in Salt Lake City on New Year's Eve 1999, and at the Venetian Hotel Showroom in Las Vegas, Nevada to name a few. Goldstein has recorded nearly 50 C.D.'s of his own and with other artists. He also has arranged 15 piano solo arrangement books including many sacred hymns. Goldstein's music is not one genre of music. He plays religious hymns, popular music, patriotic melodies, show tunes, and love songs. He has played soul with Thurl Bailey and even country with Billy Dean. He has a way of drawing the audience into the piece as they experience the emotion that it invokes.
