Long ago in the year of 2012, an idea came about to add a new aspect to the South Jersey/Philly local heavy music scene. Thus, The Emtila Strain began. Evolving over the years from playing purely Acacia Strain, Emmure, and Attila covers, you can now hear the likes of Code Orange, Gideon, and more. Having provided the party with bands such as Oceano, Knocked Loose, Left Behind, In Dying Arms, Adestria, Legion, Beyond Dishonor, Proletariat and more, the band has solidified a home in the Philly area known for it's cause of the so-called "mosh".
