BIO (ENG) Exit Clause is about living in the short term. About the fear of commitment. About continuous distraction and the Peter Pan syndrome. The idea, in short, that we have lost the capacity to stand still. Which is both horrible and magnificently beautiful. Exit Clause creates music confronting these modern woes. Their debut album, released late 2014, is a collection of catchy, layered, and meticulously crafted indie rock, combining the vigor of Placebo with the melodic dexterity of Death Cab for Cutie. It was crowdfunded through Dutch website voordekunst.nl – taking a mere five days to finance, and was given four stars by Dutch magazine Music Maker BIO (NL) Exit Clause gaat over het leven in de korte termijn.
