Lower Lands Biography

Lower Lands are 4 guys who set their ambitions high. Their 90's inspired alt rock has captured the attention of the media and fans alike with them recently receiving favourable attention from the likes of Radio 1, Kerrang TV, Rock Sound Magazine and NME.com. 2 short years ago, they were playing to a handful of punters at a pub in Scunthorpe and now they're sharing the stage with bands like Kids in Glass Houses, Hawthorne Heights and Deaf Havana. It seems the sky is only the limit for these guys and with the recent release of their sophomore EP Canvas and a bevy of tours in the pipeline including 40 shows across North America and Canada, the future is looking bright. Our new EP 'Canvas' is out now and it's absolutely free, we'll save you the trouble of finding a torrent for it. - www.lowerlands.bandcamp.com/albums/canvas The press have once again been really kind to us and spared our massive egos: "Canvas is a solid, unpretentious collection of tunes. A promising effort that bodes well for the future." - Rock Sound Magazine "The four-piece have a cathartic appeal, able to pen catchy song structures while throwing in some ferocious moments for good measure." - Big Cheese Magazine "Canvas is a fantastic follow up EP and the Lower Lands boys are only reiterating what we already know; they’re on the road to much deserved success." - Ourzone Magazine "Each song on this EP could be an anthem." - Glasswerk Magazine "They sound massive." - Jen Long, Radio 1 "An amazing discovery for any alt-rock fan still mourning the loss of Reuben." - The Huffington Post 2010 - 2014
