Small Dream Ada

New York based music groups oMoO, Berg, and Small Dream Ada will form a triple bill at the Lower East Side’s ‘The Living Room’ on September 22nd, 2013 from 7 to 10pm. Emotional Landscapes, a term borrowed from journalist David Pearl’s recent series ‘Pearls’ in the Telavivian, describes the intimate and contemplative nature of these ensembles, “electronic sounds with organic instruments, as well as warm human voices connected by crispy cold musical air.” The groups all take inspiration from the authors they read (Paul Celan, Nabakov, Herman Melville) and the imaginative landscapes those author’s works evoke. The show precedes the release of Berg’s forthcoming album, “Children’s Corner,” and Small Dream Ada’s music video release for “I Shut My Eyes.”Emilie Weibel’s solo project oMoO, “is a multi-lingual brew of experimental jazz, pop, and electronics.” Her lyrics are inspired by the book Moby Dick.
