Neon Rouge Biography
4 piece Blues band from Staffordshire FORMATION: Neon Rouge formed in 2012 as a duo with Kieran Oakes and Jonathan Finney who have remarkably been friends since there date of birth, quite literally. College mates Keiran O'Reilly and Roy Bamford were soon added to the mixer as Keiran patted the drums whilst Conroy played bass guitar. An exciting prospect for Neon Rouge was the addition of the exceptionally talented Ben Hughes who later added to the lineup on Organ a good few months after the band begun jamming. On the 22nd December Neon Rouge released there first single 'Black Mamba Radical's Rising's Lee Barber hailed Black Mamba as a 'possible contender for song of the year in Stoke on Trent'. The song has been played on BBC introducing numerous times and was pick of the week when first released. 2013: In 2013 Neon Rouge are looking to add more members with the intention of a bigger bluesy sound. During Febuary Neon Rouge lost there original Bassist Roy Bamford replacing him with former OK. Coral Bass sensation Jamie Gill. The band released the follow up single to 'Black Mamba' on April 29th which was entitled 'Aint No Cab Gonna Take Me Home' which again has received lots of attention locally. Also the Blues roots in the song and sheer soul has gained positive feedback on the social networking side of things, getting numerous air plays and various Bloggers interested. https://twitter.com/Neon_Rouge https://neonrouge.bandpage.com/ http://soundcloud.com/weareneonrouge http://www.youtube.com/user/NEONROUGEUK http://www.reverbnation.com/weareneonrouge http://rebelbear.bandcamp.com/ PLANTING THE SEED.
