Lost in Olympus Biography
Lost In Olympus are a Leeds-based Alternative-rock band, who play down-tuned guitar-heavy melodies for people who appreciate their music whiskey-fuelled and loud. Formed in late 2011, the band consists of five lads from Leeds, Yorkshire who boast a combined gigging experience of several decades, and who regularly shake the rafters of every venue at which they are booked. The band are comprised of Andy Twigg (vocals), Rob Kewley (guitar, backing vocals), Mark “Sparks” Bray (guitar), Danny Pollard (drums) and Jonny Ridout (bass). “With blistering live performances and monstrously epic riffs, Lost In Olympus are sure to set fire to the imaginations of all fans of heavy, groovy music with their own brand of hard-rock ostentation” – Razor’s Edge Journalism A heady mix of hard-rock guitars with a melodious lyrical style which carries an infectious vibe – Influenced by bands such as; Black Stone Cherry, Alter Bridge & Hands Like houses. "Their live shows have a positive vitality to them. With an unpredictable and visceral stage presence." - Almost famous – Leeds Their moto is: The juice is worth the squeeze. “Well we could squeeze them all day long” – Hollie Cooper – Drystone Radio They have released their first single "Free" in Dec 2013 and latterly there new EP called Falling Lessons in April 2014. The band are also confirmed to play the main stage at Summer Jam festival in Silsden in late August 2014. Supporting bands such as Reverend and the makers and Bruce Foxton from the jam to name but a few. Now backed by M.A.S records 2014 could be the year they smash into the collective consciousness of the British music scene. Leeds based alternative rock band
