Qbical Biography

Does it always have to be dark and gloomy? Raymond van Baal ( the guy behind the name Qbical ) does not think so. Over the past decades, he has been steadily churning out bright, uplifting electronic music with a positive outlook.

Starting in the tracker/demo scene, he eventually branched out to releases and remixes on labels such as Manual Music, Soulful Techno, Cinematique, Mad Hatter, and Poesie Musik. Currently, he is releasing on his own Qbism label.

A Qbical song or remix is highly recognizable by infectious and sometimes hypnotizing uplifting synthesizer sounds and syncopated basslines and percussion that makes you want to move until the sun comes up. This sound makes his work stand out and immediately recognizable.

Feeling both at home in the studio and on stage, you can expect the same level of euphoria when you visit a Qbical live show, adding even more synthetic weirdness in the mix, making sure it will be a concert you will not soon forget!
