The NoMad'Steps

The NoMad'Steps We are just writing and playing songs. Just working on sharing feelings and ideas. That may then find shelter inside you, or fade away. But the world is built upon feelings and ideas. We've been friends since the ages of two and three. Thirteen years after we met, we visited, being curious and bit bored in our small village, a seminary. And when one of the residents asked us « do you play music ? Because if you are I can give you free lessons », we answered « yes we do ». After such a statement, we of course had to learn how to play music and write good songs and lyrics. And we did. It took us ten years before The NoMad'Steps were born. Ten years during which we played various kinds of music in various bands (progressive metal, pop-rock, atmospheric rock...), played various instruments, did local concerts, recorded albums and mini-albums... Amongst other artistic activities such as theater, writing... All those experiences led us to this acoustic world music built upon the mix of different musical traditions and some energy brought back from our metal experiences. Our lyrics are about ethics, mystical experiences, inspired by both occidental and oriental philosphy; and are sung in english, french, spanish, russian... After more than a year of being working on our musical and lyrical identity, our first 12 songs are regrouped in an album named « Home », soon ready for you to discover it. The promotion of our art just begins. Because we think it's time for you and us to meet. Atmospheric-Folk / Music for Earth and Ethics.
