The Guggenheim Grotto Biography
The Guggenheim Grotto (Shane Power, Kevin May, and Mick Lynch) released their debut album,"... Waltzing Alone", on Shellac Records, in Ireland in 2005, and in early 2007 it was number 1 selling Folk album on iTunes USA..
Previously the band released an EP, "A Lifetime in Heat", which is available as a free download from their website, www.guggenheimgrotto.com
Following on from a successful U.S. tour in 2006/2007, the band are currently writing new tracks, recording demos and discussing ideas for a 2008 album release. The album has a working title of "Happy the Man" and have released a single from this album called "Waking up in America".
