Perceptionist

Residing in Hollywood, CA and formed in 2011, Perceptionist is a refreshing take on progressive metal that is reminiscent of bands like Between the Buried and Me, The Contortionist, and Protest the Hero. Perceptionist features Riley Brodersen and Abe Freshwater on guitars, Connor Coram on bass, and Edoardo Talenti on drums. Perceptionist formed when Edoardo and Lenny, two long time friends and bandmates, moved to Los Angeles from Bologna, Italy to attend the prestigious Musicians Institute. It was there that they met the rest of the band and joined to create Perceptionist. It has been their goal since the beginning to connect with people through new and refreshing progressive metal that is full of emotion and combines a wide variety of styles. Perceptionist has hit the LA metal scene hard bringing their dynamic live performance to an extensive number of shows in Southern California. The band has even released a music video for their single, “Feeling Nostalgic”, and their first full length album titled “Evolve” was released on August 28th 2014.
