Innovade is a rising electronic music project that specializes in trance and progressive dance music. adro (Adrian Budomo) and Ken Lin aim to help unite and expand the trance fan base and strive to make a name for themselves in the rising EDM scene in San Diego. adro has been involved with music ever since he was young. Growing up, he loved playing piano and always took part in his schools’ instrumental music programs. Aside from his band & orchestral taste, he liked listening to pop, rock and oldies from the 80's and 90's. In the summer of 2010, he finally found his love for electronic music after attending his first dance music festival. Some of his favorite DJs that influence his sound are Gareth Emery, Cosmic Gate, Simon Patterson, ATB, Eric Prydz and Jerome Isma-Ae. Ken had a different start. He grew up listening to rap, hip-hop and R&B. During his middle school/high school years, he started to get into rock, alternative and some trance and electronica. He also experimented with scratching hip-hop but quickly grew out of it. However, in college, one of his close friends really got him hooked to the EDM world. After exploring a wide breadth of electronic music, he finally narrowed down his style down to trance, progressive, house and electro. In September 2011, he released the first volume of his own compilation series, Direction. trance and progressive dance music
