KUTTING TIES

We are a rock and roll/punk rock band from Magazine Arkansas who say what we feel needs said. Formed in December 2011 , we have since recorded two albums and traveled thousands of miles performing with many amazing local and regional artists. What do we offer? Raw, original, and energetic spirit led tunes and entertainment. *In March of 2012 we released our first E.P titled "Lord of the Harvest". It featured seven tracks (including an intro) that we felt represented who we are and what we stand for. Lord of the Harvest was recorded at Blue Chair Studio in Austin, AR. This E.P was recorded with the original members Justin, Brad, Zakk, and Chaylon. During this time Mark Maxwell was added to the lineup for about a 3 month stint for additional guitar. After Mark, who was a paramedic with a difficult schedule, left the band J.C Patterson was added to the lineup. *In March of 2013 we released our debut full length album titled "Stitches". The album featured 15 tracks (including an intro, and a skit dedicated to good friends Your Pet Moose) that extended our vision, along with introducing new sounds and ventures into extended genres. Additionally, we re-recorded two songs from our E.P. Severed, and Got Your Back. The new recording of Got Your Back features guest vocals by Eric Stewart of More Than Sparrows. The Stitches album was also recorded at Blue Chair Studio with the original four members and the addition of J.C Patterson. *Kutting Ties parted ways with JC Patterson and Zakk Bodnar in July of 2013. Cliff Nelms, formerly of Blood Shot Eye, then began to fill in on bass. In September Cliff became the full time bass player for the band. *October 28th 2013 Kutting Ties disbanded.
