Inner Xpose

Inner Xpose is a djent, metalcore, progressive metal band from Barcelona Spain. It was initially started by guitarist Sebastian Sendon in October 2011. After writing his first song “Self similarity”, he started searching for members to transform the project into a full band. He got in contact with bassist Gabri and offered him the position in the band. Gabri accepted and proposed to be the band's drummer his friend and bandmate Vicenç with whom he had previously played with. Sebastian continued writing more songs for the band and the 3 of them started rehearsing throughout the first half of 2012. After several months of searching for a vocalist, Gabri contacted his fellow musician and friend William UJ, who had been in several bands covering different styles from nu-metal, alternative metal&experimental rock (Yourself, Deafness) to math, experimental, progressive metal (Nvll) as well as being the drummer in the alternative, progressive rock band El Caso Carradine, and offered him the position. After the audition was done, William became the vocalist of the band and began writing lyrics and vocal lines for the 3 songs that the band had at that time. He recorded vocals for the first single “Self similarity” and the band published the song in various social networks, receiving very positive responses from listeners all around the world. Throughout the second half of 2012 the band continued rehearsing and Sebastian continued writing more music with the purpose of releasing the band's first E.P. In 2013. They debuted live on March 2013 along with Overdown and Devouring doom, receiving positive critics and feed-back from the public, increasing their popularity through their social network pages and creating so much expectation that they reached 1000+ followers in facebook a week before the E.P. Was even released. The band released their self-produced E.P. “Panoramic horizon” on the 20th of April, 2013, and apart from presenting it Live on the 27th of April, 2013 along with Far'n'Hate, Left In The Wake and Vultures Overhead, they have more concert dates confirmed throughout Spain for the next months. Inner Xpose has various musical influences and has been related to several djent metal bands such as Periphery, Monuments, Volumes as well as the math metal band Meshuggah and the alternative metal band Deftones in relation to their more melodic vocal lines. However the essence and power of the band is precisely the art of combining all these different influences into one, solid sound and being able to take listeners and audience through different aspects of emotions in one single musical trip. http://innerxpose.bandcamp.com/
