Doc Kohler

Doc Kohler has been at the music industry hard for over 20 years. With backgrounds ranging from Pop to metal, Doc has now conquered some of the nations biggest stage with some of the biggest acts in several projects throughout the years. With extensive musical training and management under his belt, there's no looking back. Originally from Winnipeg, Doc started out with acoustic acts and several small garage band type of gigs which most do. Migrating to Calgary, Doc made a small dent by joining rock band "Intonal" in 2005. Sharing large stages in town and winning several battle of the bands, Intonal split to form "Shrines" in Vancouver, B.C. With several on and off projects, Doc landed the frontman position in Vancouver based metal/rock band "Inside It Failed". Participating in several management teams and production teams, Inside It Failed participated in festivals and several large shows including sharing the stage with "Bif Naked" Armchair Cynics" and "The Thick Of It" to name a few. Releasing their debut album "Say Goodnight Forever", Inside It Failed received media exposure world wide. Now with many Cross Canadian and North American tours under his belt, Doc was able to reserve "ammo" for upcoming projects. Receiving internship from David Ottoson (Noise Therapy/Calahan/Destinek) Doc worked with several of the world's greatest musicians such as Ryan Van Poederooyen (the Devin Townsend Project) and Kai (Methods Of Mayhem) Doc Kohler left Vancouver in 2013 to peruse his talents as a solo act and release his album "Exposed". This landed him the position as the new frontman for Calgary based rock band "Silo". Since he's joined, Silo has recently opened for Buckcherry at the Calgary Stampede and is scheduled for an ep release followed by extensive touring including festivals (Alberta's Own/Clutch) and large performances near you.
