Cinder Home Biography
Cinder Home began simply, as most music does, between two friends with the thoughts of having fun and playing a bit of music. The talented duo quickly morphed into something much more. Ideas of playing music they could enjoy and that was a change from what they had grown up around rapidly took root. Instead it became more about strumming their ideas out into the world. As the folk project of Gabriel Cotrell and Calvin Garber began to grow it took on new members. Meredith Miles, Shawn Zerkle and Chris Witham soon completed the puzzle. Influenced by Mumford and Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Avett Brothers and Sigur Ros, the band classifies themselves as bluegrass roots with new age folk. The members Cinder Home hail from Dayton, Ohio where they are currently recording their first album. For booking, email cinderhome@gmail.com or send a message here on Facebook. Folk music.
