Summer Holds The Earth

Summer Holds The Earth was formed in 2011 by Nathan Harbaugh and Derek Jolley as a friend project. The band recorded it's first EP, "Friends Without Benefits" in early 2012. The band added Dan Washington for one show in 2012 in which the band played as a 5-piece, but then disbanded temporarily. When Mark and Frazee left the band in late 2012, Danny stayed and James Jaskolka joined to record the full length, "Posted" in early 2013. James left the band after one tour. Currently the band has evolved to add Dylan Jolley bass and plans to write and record in the future with a new feel. Jolley and Harbaugh seek to add some variety and complexity to the mix in the coming months. -College Press Summer Holds The Earth broke up in 2013 and has been playing shows and recording music ever since.
