Wirethrone

Wirethrone is the melodic death metal brainchild of James Harper, Josh Delgado, Adam Mehdaova, Chris Horan and James Smith. Formed in 2011 by Harper, Delgado, and drummer Kris Huffamn, Wirethrone has survived numerous line up changes, until finding musicians with the correct attitude and mind set. Combining the ferocity of the Gothenburg sound and modern metal styles, Wirethrone has created something unique, yet simple, music that all fans from any era can grasp. In 2013, Wirethrone released their debut album "The Sun Betrays Us To The Night," to highly acclaimed praise. Soon after, Kris Huffman departed from the band, and was replaced by James Smith, whose technical prowess adds a reinforced backbone to the melodic giants. Wirethrone has conducted one tour, released a music video, and has played numerous shows opening for international acts such as Obscura, Carach Angren, and Fleshgod Apocalypse, as well as American acts such as Abysmal Dawn, Abigail Williams, Doyle(Misfits), Angel Vivaldi, and Enfold Darkness. On March 16th, 2016, Wirethrone released their first ever lyric video for their the single, "A Rebirth." Wirethrone is currently in the studio working on their sophomore album.
