Sashi & the Wild Beans

Sashi & the Wild Beans were brought together by great music, and united by a slightly deranged sense of humour. Their blend of soul, ska and swing creates the perfect sound-scape for Sashi Wild’s infectious lyrics and melodies. Featuring retro vocal harmonies, tight horn lines and stomping beats, the Wild Beans’ soulful pop songs are designed to make you dance and smile. This Brixton based band formed in the summer of 2010 to play a one off gig, but soon realised they were having far too much fun to call it a day there. Three years later and the Beans have opened the G-Stage at Glastonbury, played various festival main stages, and headlined stand-out gigs at The Hootananny and 93 Feet East amongst others. August 2012 saw the release of their debut EP ‘True To Yourself’, a self-released collection of uplifting pop songs providing the perfect feel good soundtrack.
