Wanted one-armed Bandits

Wanted one-armed Bandits is a Russian skacore band born in March’08 in Karachev. Currently the members of the band are: Alexander Averianov (vocals), Igor Sidorov (bass), Ivan Akimenko (drums), Andrey Yekimov (back-vocals, guitar), Alexander Ivanushkin (guitar), Yevgeniy Maslov (back-vocals, trumpet), Ivan Zmozhnyy (back-vocals, saxophone). To date the band has recorded a LP and a mini-album. Another notable fact of the early activities is their cover version of ‘No Future’ by Anti-Flag which was included in the Russian tribute to this collective. The band gained success when their EP called ‘Motivation’ was released in 2012. Some songs from it, such as ‘Motivation, ‘The Best Day’, ‘Music’ became the hits. Their lyrics are full of hatred towards the most destructive factor of our planet – the human; they’re calling for self-improvement and struggle for the rights. Their sound, dark and heavy, comprising progressive hardcore and metalcore mixed with the weak beat, can be said to be of fine taste. After the EP had been released, the Russian underground media recognized Wanted One-armed Bandits as the best skacore band of Russia, and the guys set off on tour across Russia, Ukraine and Belarus (there were both solo concerts and participations in the big festivals) In 2012 Wanted One-armed Bandits released their first music video filmed by Czech studio BLACK CLOUD PICTURES. The video receives positive feedback from many bands-members of punk/hc/ska scene. Wanted One-armed Bandits support the political views of Greg Graffin, singer and songwriter of Bad Religion.
