Two Step With Marlon Brando Biography

With stories reflecting the aspirations of a new generation ready for change, but not without looking back to the nostalgic experiences of hometown and youth, Boy Blue is a group of individuals burning the midnight oil in pursuit of their dreams of education, love, and music. Their similar interpretation of the modern American dream is what inspires their songs, recognizing the little things that shape who we are.

From the heart of Essex County New Jersey, to college dorm rooms, to the relentless streets of New York City is where these contrasting personalities merge to write the trials and tribulations of their personal lives. From practices to performances for over half decade, they’ve built a community inspired by self-reflection and ambition. The band members, Christian Ortiz, Steven Moretti, Joe Moretti, Anthony Cafaro, and Andrew Ruben Garcia, attribute themselves as a cutting edge, class act that you can always find going the extra mile for their fans.

The band was formed in 2009, influenced by the energetic performance of groups like Blink-182 and Good Charlotte. For four years the young group released demos and played anywhere someone would let them. During small hours of the night of 2013 between the walls of Westfall Recording Company NY is where the making of their latest EP 973 took place. While teaming up with native producers Anthony Santonocito and Justin Autumn, Boy Blue created a record filled with infectious melodies and authentic narratives of the group’s memoirs. The band’s traits meet a new age of rock with a bold angst symbolized by their driving guitars, forceful drums, and emotionally valuable vocal compositions. Having played places like The Starland Ballroom and The Stanhope House they have brought their energetic show to many venues in the tri-state area. They have played shows with acts such as Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Real Friends, Patent Pending, Wheatus, and Aaron Carter.

Steadily laboring through the challenges they face at the gates of today’s devious music industry, the band is prepared for the athletic competition that awaits them. In the evolving stages of their music, they anticipate their future of defining Boy Blue, and characterizing the personalities of its intellectual members.

Representing the spirit of passion before comfort, Boy Blue is set out to break through the normal measures of society. They recognize their job is complete when their music touches fans with affection, knowing that they’ve made a difference in the world no matter how small it may be.
