Bad Execution Biography

Bad Execution is a freight train barely on the rails. A high school science experiment gone wrong. A post-grunge chemical reaction with an unexpected outcome. Bad Execution is pounding yet intricate bass lines, thundering drums and a slugfest of guitars. Bad Execution is a sweaty, slamming mosh pit of music. Inspired by bands like Soundgarden, Rise Against and Queens of the Stone Age, Bad Execution formed in the basements and back rooms on the western edge of the world-famous Hamptons. Lead singer/guitarist Kevin Preller was busy regularly disrupting his sophomore art class when he learned that the petite, red-headed girl who sat next to him was a fleet-fingered bassist. Kevin and Kat Pulsonetti formed a friendship, and then a plan for world domination. That plan soon included the always laid-back, up for anything, drummer, J.P. Hennessey, AKA the Thunder Master. Bad Execution played their first train-wreck of a show in a park in Riverhead, NY. It was so horrific they didn't speak to each other for six months. When they eventually decided to regroup, they realized they needed a scapegoat, and someone to handle some of the heavy load of screaming guitar riffs. Since Edward Hennessey was already hanging around the basement, and owned a guitar, they decided he was the perfect guy for the job. Thus, the lineup of Bad Execution was set. In the two years since, Bad Execution has left burn marks and scars all over the Long Island music scene, making a name for themselves from Amagansett to Amityville. In recent months, Bad Ex has gotten serious in the recording studio, and will be releasing new music this summer. They are expanding their reach, playing on Campus at SUNY Purchase, with plans to take on the NY Metro area and beyond A post-grunge chemical reaction with an unexpected outcome. Bad Execution is pounding yet intricate bass lines, thundering drums and a slugfest of guitars.
