(ESP) Corría el 2009 cuando cuatro chicos de 20 y pocos años, Toni, Chacón y Pep naturales de Pollença y Berto de Palma, decidieron dar un giro al estilo que venían haciendo, buscando a una chica como vocalista. Encontraron a Loana, que en ese momento contaba con solo 14 años de edad. Durante los más de 2 años que formó parte de la banda, se grabaron dos EP's, "1986" (publicado 2010), de producción casera y el "1988" (publicado 2011), grabado en Psychosomatic Studios por Mega, donde consiguieron un sonido mucho más profesional.En ese tiempo consiguieron rodar bastante por el circuito mallorquín, compartieron escenario con bandas como Berri Txarrak, Dawholeenchilada e incluso salieron de gira en una furgoneta prestada y embarcada rumbo a la península durante 12. Tras la grabación del segundo EP, los chicos y la vocalista empezaron a distanciarse y finalmente el 9 de septiembre, tras más de un año de bajón y poca actividad, Loana acabó abandonando la formación de manera amistosa, alegando problemas de comunicación y desgaste. Lejos de desanimarse, los chicos decidieron tirar para adelante y buscar una nueva vocalista. Sorprendentemente, tuvieron el privilegio de poder realizar más audiciones de las que habían anticipado y ante tanto talento la decisión final no fue fácil, pero acabaron encontrando a la persona perfecta para esta nueva etapa, Sofía. Sofía, de 19 años, canta desde que tiene memoria, y cuenta influencias de rock, soul y el jazz. Había intentado con anterioridad formar algún grupo de rock alternativo que no habían cuajado por motivos diversos y había subido a un escenario en alguna ocasión colaborando con otro grupo pollensín. Después de un par de audiciones pasó a formar parte del grupo oficialmente. (ENG) It all began in late 2009, in Mallorca, well known in Spain for its alternative rock scene. A new female-fronted five piece punk rock band, Theverlong, emerged to diversify the mix. Their first self-produced EP was released in November 2010 titled 1986 featuring songs of rock, punk and pop genre. It is offered on Bandcamp as well as on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon etc. Blogs and reviews praised the young talents and potential of this new band and in a few months facebook followers reached the 2000 mark and continue growing. Aesthetically many comparisons have been made to Paramore but bands such as Rise Against or Funeral for a Friend were clearly the influence to achieve a heavier sound which is even more apparent while they develop. The band embarked on the successful "Roll and Roll Tour" in mainland Spain in Easter 2011. The video "See The Lights" compiles highlights of their shows and travels. Straight after the tour they hit the studio to start working on their newest EP, 1988, that was released on 15th July of that same year. In September 2012, Loana, the original singer left the band and after a few auditions, Sofía Ise joined in.
