ESQUELITO Esquelito is an independent rock banda based in the South of Italy, Lucania, in 2013 consisting of the brothers Riccardo and Edoardo Puntillo, respectively drummer-lead voice and bass-choirs, along with Pietro Galli, guitar and keyboard, Leonardo Benedetto, guitar and choirs and Aris Volpe, percussions and choirs. 2011 February-March 2011: Trip in Mexico. April 2011: Edoardo, Riccardo, Pietro, Claudio Lay and Dino Lacanfora formed the first core of the banda. August 2011: Amazing gig in Metaponto Beach Festival. October 2011-April 2012: It was a long Winter. During those months they recorded their debut ep "Banananas" at the Krikka Studio in Bernalda, their town. 2012 In February Dino Lacanfora leaves the banda. In April Esquelito is nominated Best Italia Wave Band - Lucania (2012) The same month is pubblished Banananas, that has good reviews on several fanzine and the videoclip of All the Kidz. Banananas contains 5 songs All the Kidz, Banananas, Chappolines, Never get out of Pop and Esquelito. In May Claudio Lay leaves the banda. In July Esquelito plays at Arezzo Wave Love Festival. In August, Leonardo Benedetto begins to play with Esquelito, the same month they play at Pollino Music Festival In November they play at Circolo degli Artisti in Roma, opening act for the No. 7 band (Federico Poggipollini, Roberto Dell'Era, Sergio Carnevale) at Jack on Tour 2012. In December the day after an amazing gig in Foligno, Umbria, they win the contest of Jack Daniel's at Alkatraz, Milan. 2013 February-March recording Youwho in Milan at Tune Studio. In May Aris Volpe begins to play with Esquelito and the first concert is at Lucania Lab Festival opening act for 99 Posse. In September they present Youwho at MEI in Faenza. Youwho contains 5 songs Esquelito, Eternit Love, Monkeyz, One Million and Weekly Leaks. October out the videoclip of Eternit Love, directed by Dino Lacanfora.
