Failsafe Biography
This is the name of three bands.
The first band:
Hailing from the north western city of Preston are quintet Failsafe. Formed in 2000, early incarnations of the band (formerly known under the moniker 'Duckhunt' after the celebrated arcade game of old) had a ska punk leaning. A reflection of the times around them. The years that followed saw various line up changes until the current line up slotted together in early 2004. Still all only 21 or under the various members have brought their own individual influences & styles to the collective melting pot that is Failsafe today. Straight up punk to reggae through post hardcore with a hint of metal. Their much talked about on the underground 2004 demo 'Variations Of A Theme' showcased their diverse musical background & won them many fans.
Fast forward to 2005 & a couple of years on the road, playing with the likes of Anti-Flag, Sommerset & No Comply to name but a few sees the band release their debut full length album to the world. 'What We Are Today' is the product of a band with collective old heads on young shoulders. The album is a trip through the eclectic tastes & styles of the times to create a truly unique & modern rock record. Be it the pounding anthem 'Unity In Progress' or the chilled out dub reggae of 'Das Regg'. This album is truly pigeon hole defying but fans of many genres will be enveloped by its diversity & strength.
In 2006, The band were part of the Good To Go Tour 2006 with co-headliners The Aquabats & Allister
In 2008, the band formed the backing band for MC Lars at the UK 'emo festival' Give It A Name in London (Earl's Court) and Sheffield.
The second band:
melodic metalcore, post-hardcore
Coming from Tulsa, Oklahoma, this group has brought the rock back to the T-town. Now they changed name to Violence to Vegas

The third band:
A Los Angeles new wave band from the early 1980s. The band released three records - "Bravados," "A Fistful of Failsafe" and "Suicide Bridge."
