The Deceiver

Since forming around early 2012, Aurora have managed to develop a unique sound that is beautiful as it is crushing. Sitting somewhere between Bring Me The Horizon & Whitechapel they also take influences from artists such as While She Sleeps, Of Mice & Men, Memphis May Fire, Bury Tomorrow, Periphery & Volumes. Aurora's members previously plied their trade in various other local Birmingham bands, never quite feeling they were achieving the sound they were striving for. Until, as in many cases, a chance meeting of like minds happened and thus the band was formed. December 2012 saw the release of EP 'Easily Broken' via renowned label In At The Deep End Records. With their debut album planned for 2015, Aurora will also be playing numerous gigs in the UK and Europe over the next 12 months, so watch this space closely...
