Octahed Biography

Octahed was formed in the spring of 2010 Budapest, Hungary. The band plays music that draws inspiration from a wide range of metal as well as contemporary noise genres among others. After a short Hungarian tour in the summer of 2010 the band wrote and recorded its first album, Circum Polaris which was released in 2012. In the same year a split disc with the Hungarian extreme rock band Karst came out. Octahed's new album, The Four Directions and Love as Underlying Force summarizes the band's work since the debut album, while opening new horizons with a new, stable lineup. The band shared the stage with bands such as Deafheaven (USA), Full of Hell (USA), The Secret (ITA), I Am Heresy (US), Hierophant (I), Bastions (UK), Wolves Like Us (N), Mouth of The Architect (USA), Generation of Vipers (USA), Thranenkind (D), Isolated (UK), Barn Burner (CAN) and Striking Justice (NL).
