Tin Cup Gypsy Biography

At the core of Tin Cup Gypsy you’ll find a fusion of Folk, Jazz, and Bluegrass with rich melodies that captures the essence of their Grassroots-Country genre. By featuring a variety of instruments such as Mandolin, Violin, Concertina, Acoustic Guitar, Percussion, and three-part harmonies, the group’s unique blend attracts a diverse group of listeners. The group weaves a fresh sound with the classic groundbreaking styles of the Eagles, James Taylor, as well as earthy undertones of the Dixie Chicks, and Fleetwood Mac. Although in their twenties, the members of Tin Cup Gypsy have collected a wealth of experiences that has far exceeded their time. Collectively they have worked as musicians for multi-platinum recording artists such as Sara Evans, Josh Turner, Maroon 5, and Lorrie Morgan. In addition to their live performances, Jonathan, Jordan, and Cassandra Lawson and Tyler Oban have appeared on several national programs including CMT’s Cross-Country, Good Morning America, Today Show, The View, Grand Ole Opry Live, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The Martha Stewart Show. Several of the members have also played various principle roles in music videos for Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Trace Atkins, Trisha Yearwood, Blake Shelton, Montgomery Gentry, and Josh Turner. Accomplished as they may be, live performance lies at the heart of their résumé and the four wayfaring musicians bring in a new level of fresh talent with a current of musical gusto and magnetic presence. Tin Cup Gypsy is now The Railers. http://facebook.com/therailers www.twitter.com/therailers
