After a year's break from the beautiful shores of Lake Malawi, Lake of Stars Festival is back and better than ever!Join us at Kabumba Hotel in Leopards Bay, Salima, from 28-30 September as we celebrate 15 years of Lake of Stars. We'll be bringing you three days of amazing music and culture from international, regional and local artists, coupled with many other activities including beach games, poetry, drama, dance, kids' activities, amazing food and much more...The line up so far includes;

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Under 18's are welcome but must be accommpanied by an adult with photo ID.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There will be parking within walking distance of the festival site. You can hire cars or taxi's easily from Lilongwe, drive time is approx 2 hours from Lilongwe city centre.
What can I bring into the event?
You cannot bring any drinks, food, weapons, animals or drugs into the event. Nor can you consume drink or food in the festival car park.
Does the camping ticket include a tent?
No, the camping ticket is just to cover the cost of pitching your own tent on-site. All equipment must be brought in by festival-goers. If you're interested in booking a pre-erected tent head over to our website to find out more about the Glamping options.
