Alabaster DePlume

We're thrilled to welcome Alabaster DePlume for this show. A wonderful, creative experimental musical act. His new album is out on Lost Map.

London and Manchester based spoken word artist, writer and saxophonist Angus Fairbairn AKA Alabaster dePlume made his Lost Map debut with the release of the postcard single, 'Be Nice To People' in October 2017. totally unique... very, very brilliant indeed by BBC Radio 3's Max Reinhardt.

The Corner of a Sphere is Alabaster DePlume's fourth album to date, following three successful self-releases on vinyl, CD and digital formats in collaboration with Manchester's Debt Records.

Frankly @a_deplume is outrageously talented and puts the rest of us to shame, this is just sublime, one of my favourite poets by a country mile WordLife Sheffield

Supporting Alabaster will be Leeds' artist and Baboon favourite Alisia Casper. A wonderfully talented creative force who also leads wildly out there act Eskimoomin. She has also performed recently with Laetitia Sadier, Charlie Parr, Adem and Maggie8. Highly recommended.

Please note this gig is an earlier start/end time. Alisia will be on at 8pm and the gig will close at 10pm.
