London Contemporary Voices' fourth annual summer concert at Union Chapel will celebrate women in music, with a programme comprised of work by female artists and composers across a variety of genres.
London's leading alternative choir will be joined onstage by guests including Brit Award-winning singer and political activist Charlotte Church, experimental folk artist Jesca Hoop, Indian singer Deepa Nair Rasiya (known for her work with George Harrison and Ravi Shankar) and L.A.-based composer K Á R Y Y N, an Armenian electronic artist hotly-tipped by Björk.
The diverse and exciting programme will also see LCV cover songs by a number of female classical, folk and leftfield song-writers, including Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling, Imogen Heap, Laura Mvula, Nao, Susanne Sundfor and London Grammar.
The Grade 1 listed Union Chapel is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric venues in London! LCV's Union Chapel concerts usually sell out so buy tickets in advance.
