In an effort to raise money for a passionate cause while commemorating the 10th anniversary of their second, eponymous album, THIS WILL DESTROY YOU will be bringing their limited-engagement performance of the entirety of the album (plus their debut album, “Young Mountain”) to Solana Beach, California at the Belly Up Tavern on June 18, 2018. All event proceeds will benefit the Tony Hawk Foundation and this performance will mark their final North American 10th anniversary concert (having previously sold out all prior 10th anniversary events across the United States, Canada, and Mexico).

In addition to General Admission, limited Loft seating and limited stage-left VIP seating is being offered. Limited edition, event-specific merchandise will be offered and a general raffle further benefiting the Tony Hawk Foundation will take place on site. Los Angeles, California’s BLACK MARE will be direct support.

THIS WILL DESTROY YOU is an instrumental band that formed in San Marcos, TX in the mid-00’s. Now based out of Los Angeles, CA, the band has since issued 4 full length albums, a triple live LP (recorded in Reykjavik, Iceland at Harpa Concert Hall), plus various singles, splits, and EP’s along the way. Their music is ubiquitous in pop culture, having appeared in every major sporting event (NFL Super Bowl, Wimbledon, MLB World Series, NBA Finals, NHL Stanley Cup, Premiere League Soccer, PGA Major Tournaments, various Summer and Winter Olympics, "UFC “Primetime: Rousey v. Carmouche"), “Best Picture” montage/final presentation at the 2012 Academy Awards, The Victoria's Secret annual show, countless movie trailers (“American Sniper,” “The Purge,” et al), innumerable films (main theme to “Moneyball,” “Foxcatcher,” “World War Z,” et al), and television (“CSI: Miami,” several “ESPN: 30 for 30” documentaries, NBC’s new hit series “Rise,” et al).

This appearance will conclude the North American run of 10th anniversary shows before taking the tour to Europe and the United Kingdom, where the band will be performing with The Cure (in Hyde Park), Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and headlining various festivals before returning home to put the finishing touches on their new album, due out this fall on Dark Operative and Suicide Squeeze.
