$10 (ADV), $12 // 21+Celine NeonThe Cell PhonesKrystal MetcalfeFoul Tip DJS------------A wretched farewell, something we never thought would see it’s day, is coming to an end. The inimitable colorful duo CELINE NEON, who unleash club-ready grime pop for the huntress, will be performing their final show with us on a hot steamy Saturday in the summer. Come bid your adieu’s and celebrate the party duo-of-the-century on their last hoorah. A little CHARLI XCX, a little NINE INCH NAILS and there you have it: dancy, industrial electro pop allstars. Together, EMILY NEJAD and MAGGIE KUBLEY create a stellar live performance sure to make you sweat those goodbye blues away.Helping to bring it all together, Chicago band THE CELL PHONES are returning for the first time since November. Some time ago, Loud Loop Press called them "a band to watch" and praised that “some bands just plant a smile on your face so big, it needs to be slapped off. THE CELL PHONES are that band.” Indeed, they are! Brimming with abrasive, bass-heavy punk and bitch’ll cut you attitude, we’re excited to have them return to the Bottle stage and be a part of this wonderful anniversary celebration.Bold, Confident and more Fearless than ever. These words, and more, describe the fiercely talented powerhouse KRYSTAL METCALFE. This Chicagoan, by way of St. Louis artist wears her life experiences, musicianship, and love for people on her chest and is always ready to set the nearest stage on fire. Her love for music runs deep into her roots and she uses those seeds to share real, purposeful, and meaningful music that will uplift your spirits and also move the crowd. “I perform to connect with my audience. By sharing music, I hope to create ‘Escapism’ for them. Take them away from their stresses, problems, and worries, if even only for a moment,” says METCALFE. Her musical style described as “the love child of Aretha Franklin and Chaka Kahn, infused with Rock n' Soul and Musical Theatre” though abstract, proves to be a winning combination for this artist. FOUL TIP DJs take their spasms off the stage and behind our piano booth to keep the rock chugging before, during and after the show.
